Roosters again, ugh!!!!

Post by Skinny rooster » Thu May 05, 2016 11:49 am

Two weeks ago two little bantams hatched out some chicks, I brought them inside because the barn was cold and I could take better care of them in the house. Now two weeks later out of 14 chicks, 11 have little red combs, one is iffy and only two are girls for sure. Aaaaaaaggh!

Sorry you got so many boys...........

Mostly females in my first hatch of EO's this year, last year had 80% cockerels.

Sooo I have this neighbours who likes to raise chicks over the summer and then sell them in the fall, he doesn't care about breed, size, male, female he just wants to watch them grow and run around his yard as a hobby. Yesterday I donated to his hobby, lol.
