13 babies hatched under 2 broodies .
8 dark chanty mixed & 5 pure white Chantecler Banties .
Chanty hen hatched the yellow ones & dark hen hatched rest but looks like taking over brooding . 2nd hatch for her since 10 th of Dec .

Awww they are so cute! Is that a bantam chantecler at the bottom of the second picture? Looks very meaty!

Nothing beats a broody. No temp worries.
No humidity worries etc.
Plus she takes care of them
Still enjoying my incubator babies though

The blk chicks are 3/4 chanty out of the 2 ...1/2 bloods who are out of solid blk mutts in top right hand corner of first 2 pic & white rooster or out of the little brown hen time will tell whose raising um & white chanty rooster in pic . I'm trying to breed to pure & close to pure chanty all my chickens for free roaming & going out of the Hamburgs .eventually just keeping pure white bantam chanteys & eating all the crosses .
