Ross, I'm curious why you are giving up on the spangled Hamburgs? They looked like nice birds too. It's a breed I've always wanted.

Thanks for asking Robbie . Yep very nice birds in all aspects but at my stage of health I want to lighten my load & have just one breed to run free with no cross breeding or separate penning so I picked Canada's bird in banty size . I've gone from 10 different breeds of pigeons down to just 2 & also plan on making that only one this year . I only have 1rooster & 2 hens left in Hambergs , Donna' favourites . Rooster is old so probably attrition will take care of the issue or predators.

Still going strong . Time to separate blk from whites tomorrow. Blks to free roam with brown hen , whites to stay with chanty banty in pen for awhile yet .
