OMGawd ~ It is HERE!!!!!

Post by Poultryprincess » Wed Apr 06, 2016 12:41 pm

I Did all the searching, researching & asking questions possible to choose a new incubator.
Decided on which HovaBator I wanted & placed my order @ "1am" on Monday (April 4)
It arrived TUESDAY April 5th!!!!! ( holy crap that was FAST!!!! )

Sooooooo here is my new baby
Genisis Hovabator model 1588
(electronic Pre-set c/w )
Added Automatic Egg Turner 1611
Also purchased an extra water tray in case this one cracks.

I have to hold myself back NOT to fill it!
I already have 60 eggs perculating in the Brower.
I want to see what I get @ Mount Forest before going any further.
(( just not positive I can resist - LOL ))

BIG THANXXXXXX to Everyone for their advice.
It really made my decision easier :iheartpto:

I JUST noticed the "turner" was NOT working on my "Brower Top Hatch"!!!
I think the stupid cat jumped on the bator which moved the rotator off the bar - grrrr
Not sure how long the turner was off, so had to hurry up & plug in the Hovabator.
( was ready within the hour - Amazing! )

I candled the 50 eggs & it seems things work out the way they are supposed to.
FORTY ONE eggs seem ok, which is Exactly the amount to fit in the egg turner.
The other 9 eggs looked like Duds...which is fine with me.

I plan on using the TOP Hatch for the "lockdown" period.
It has a large plexi top & I don't have to worry about the cat & the turner.

The moral of the story ~ it's a GOOD THING I HELD BACK!!!!
I had already started collecting eggs but didn't have enough to FILL the bator.
Lock Down is 18th, so that's the earliest I can fill up again.
Might as well wait for Mount Forest to buy some freaky new eggs, right?
