I'll take 10/16. But I'll leave them all in the incubator until later today just in case there are some later hatches.
I cannot see any pips happening with the other 6 eggs.

That's a good number, I would move them to a brooder now if there aren't any pips in the other eggs.
Then I would do a quick candle of them to see if they are still alive. But from what you said about how you count today is day 21.

If you put eggs in the incubator on Monday at 9am say, then Tuesday at 9am is day 1. If that makes sense. Happy hatching.

Tuesday at 9am is the beginning of day 1? Or has Day 1 just passed?
I would be taking that as Day 1 has happened with time beyond that being into Day 2.

Anyway, most of the chicks are now a day old, so they will be going into the brooder. And I will give the unhatched eggs a quick candling to check for life.

Yes do that. I alays leave an extra day at least as there is no cut & dried to incubating, part science part art and you are dealing with a bological system.ANy turkeys that are late are marked not to breed.

The 10 chicks are in the brooder.
There was no life in the unhatched 6 eggs. One stopped forming early on; 4 were fully formed and dead; 1 was pipped (unbeknownst to me) but suffocated because a shell from a hatched chick stuck to it.
On a good note, 16 of the 20 eggs that were gathered on the same day were fertilized. I'd say our rooster is doing his job.
Thank you for your input and the reminders.
