Best one for under 20 eggs

Post by captivakennels » Mon May 11, 2020 12:14 am

Sorry if this has been covered. I am looking to get an incubator but just for myself and a small programme. I am looking to have eggs shipped but more so for my own programme down the road. Total noob on it all and would love some advice, not just incubators but size and hatching and brooder space. I am getting 10 chicks in 10 days or so and I have a brooder plate and starter feed and will put them on nipple drinkers at first...and have a 4x4 brooder space for them and then out in the coop building a 5x9 on sand etc. Maybe I am overthinking but so new and don't want to mess up. I am getting baby bielefelders. I do have an opportunity to get some eggs from a different line as well and figure eventually I will need to hatch some myself....so any advice would be greatly appreciated and down the road if all works out...free Bielfelder roo ;)

I like GQF 1588 you can hatch shipped eggs easily. Works great every time!
