:congrats:
Glad you got to get some sleep. :)
I have been hatching for a long time now, the waiting period looking at the eggs doing nothing never gets any easier, and when there is several pips and the first one hatches all is well again, only to start exactly the same trauma, watching the eggs not doing anything next time. ;)

If not allowed Admin. feel free to remove but I thought instead of taking up space here and posting the video I would just share a link to our farm FB page.

Thanks everyone, she is a pretty neat kid and a red head to boot! There are 4 more eggs that have piped so we will see what the morning brings. I have a question is it ok to open the lid grab two and close again or should I wait? I am just concerned because the first chick (born about 1am) is rolling all the other eggs around.

DONT OPEN IT haha sit on your hands LOL. im not familiar with your incubator but in most cases you will loose all the humidity the chicks need to keep that membrane just moist enough to let the chick escape it. if you loose that humidity the other chicks will most likely get shrink wrapped in the egg which means they get stuck to the egg and it never ends well. think of the chick running around causing chaos as a motivator to the other chicks to hurry up lets go! they will be perfectly fine for 24 hours in there getting all the nutrition still from the yolk sac that the chick has absorbed....

Congrats again!
