Post by Giffen Farms » Sun Jan 29, 2017 9:46 pm

Just set my first batch of eggs tonight, 13.5 dozen of French black and blue copper marans, white chanteclers, lemon cuckoo orpingtons, anconas, cream legbars, buff/white/black and partridge silkies, ameraucana/olive eggers.
Hopefully this year goes better than the last. :xfingers:

Thanks, hopefully all goes well as our 2yr old is more excited about "making chicks" than I am, he's telling everyone!

Hatch away, and post lots of pictures! I'm going through serious withdrawal right now, haven't hatched anything since Fall and just moved all the brooders out... House is so quiet :(

Update, of the 160+/- eggs the went in 85% of them hatched out, I'm pleased with that, if you're looking for chicks I have lots to spare, real estate is at a premium for these guys or me depending who my wife sees more favorable
