Blocking the top went will raise humidity, the bottom holes on the Hova are fresh air intake the top opening lets out warm humid air.
You will have to watch the humidity and may have to let any water in there dry out, to prevent drowning the chicks.
The eggs themselves provide some humidity by drying out gradually.
Also the ambient humidity will play a role if it ever warms up and the humidity gets high, it may be difficult to keep the humidity in the incubator down.
I never hatch in July just because of this.

Thanks all - now for the wait.... Maybe I should do a post about what I've learned once I get it figured out. I wish I had found one before setting all those eggs!
