No guys you're fine. This was originally for large scale poultry operations. I'll see if I can get Al to post a paper on storage that I sent him.

I always store my eggs for hatching small end up, many breeders will tell you that's the best way to store them for hatch ability. Other old time breeders will tell you the same thing!

What I found Really interesting is the EGG TURNING from day 4 to 7, is as good as turning for the 21 days....yet EGG TURN from day 8 - 11 was as if you didn't turn the eggs at all!
(96 times in 24 hours - OMG )
I was so worried with my last hatch, because I stopped turning after day 16.
I was surprised that 20 hatched out of the 30 ~ pretty good for such a screw up.

SO is anyone going to try the small end up?
I'm hoping to fill the bator in the next few days, wonder IF I'm brave enough to try this out (*o*)

Kenya, Do you also have "small end up" in the Incubator? ( automatic egg turner? )

No mine lye on their side, now I just borrowed a little giant incubator with a turner so I'm not sure how I'll place them in it. My R-com doesn't have egg holders to turn them, it just rolls them. I think it will be air sack up as the chicks should position themselves to hatch that way.
