Well familiar with Murphy's law it may be living at my house;)
This winter I kept 2 Ameraucana and 4 Wyandotte roosters, and the musical chairs were mind boggling. Neither breed is easily available some varieties not at all.
I know the answer is staring me in the face, but I can't !

Sometimes it helps to bring an outsider in , mentor and bypass what some call " coop blindness " As I was a kid & young man Ron Frampton RIP used to help me on chickens & pigeons . Luck

Would travel a long way to bring in new blood, it's just not there I am afraid.
