"Weighing in" of Hamish my great Blue hope...

Post by Ontario Chick » Thu Jan 28, 2016 12:51 pm

Time to check how much the Big Boy weighs at 7.3/4 month.
The big wimp, is 3.2KG =bit over 7LB so pretty much on track......
Hamish scale 7.5 month 1.jpg
Seems to have all the important parts accept a back bone, completely missing on this one....

It's possible he would prefer to live inside the bag, not sure what the girls will make of him unless he mans up a bit before spring. ;)

I hope you are right Kenya, so far I have visions of putting him in with the girls and they taking him apart feather by feather and him standing there smiling patiently. ;)

Ha! Ha! He seems like a keeper with that temperament, but I know what you mean he needs some testosterone going to ensure fertility.

I am really curious to see how he turns out,
KB has his grandsire "Lucky" who has a bit of an attitude (just the right amount to stand up to a hawk)
I have his sire, Lucky two, who is tiny bit too laid back,
and here comes Hamish, who is so laid back as to be catatonic, so in this case the temperament improved or declined depending on your point of view...

Bahahahaha! Hopefully the fact that he likes to be all snuggled up in a 'blankie' is not a testament to his masculinity or lack thereof! I suspect he's completely in love with you and holds still for you so he doesn't miss a single thing you do or say LOL. When you put him in with the hens, you might have to make yourself scarce for awhile so he gets Randy for the feathered females instead. Maybe try wearing a balaclava :D

Maybe Jans right. My Tom, Stephen, kept following me about and displaying to me ignoring the girls. I had to stop allowing him to have coffee with me. Then he got the job done with the Jennies.

OK then, no more intimate lunches and perhaps I should stop wearing that down fill coat?
