Yaaaaah, I got an egg!

:stars:
Today I finally got an egg from one of my new bantams! For the last week two of the new bantams were making nice nests but no eggs. Yesterday one went in the nest in the morning and stayed all day, I was excited when I went out in the evening but ZERO was waiting for me. This morning I went out and got an extra little surprise, even though the hens look like Wheaton OEG bantams, the egg was green! I'm thinking it's possible that they are just reaching laying age. They look young, clean legs and their faces are not red like an old hen. The box said 2016 hatch so maybe late 2016. The third one I bought doesn't even look at the nest but when I picked her up, her comb is still yellow with some black in it, no pink at all so she must be really young.

If it's easier for you, "share" it with me by email. I can then add it to your post.

Thank you for the offer; however it's the same either way so I will do it the usual way.
