Hatching/growing my own broilers

Does anyone know if it's possible to hatch your own birds and have them processed at a government inspected facility? Are you able to get a form 300 from CFO if you hatch your own?

In my small flock, I have 5 Barnevelder hens, 5 Cornish hens, 3 Speckled Sussex hens, and 2 Speckled Sussex cockerels. I'm trying to decide what to do with the boys. I know I don't have enough hens to go around to keep both...

The only reason I would keep even one would be to potentially hatch out and raise my own broilers. I have no interest in processing my own, so the only way I'd do this would be if I could still take them over to a processing facility for them to do my dirty work for me.

Any ideas?

Yup, no problem, you can get form 300 for your home grown birds
It's under "Family Food Program"
Phone # 1 289 288 4231
Once you get the number it's yours so you don't have to do it every year.
Your home grown will go in the "Non White Rock", "self hatched"
