Had to re-read the thread to see how the train of thought went since day one.
Since my original goal was re-envigorated Columbian Wyandottes, I think I now have enough Columbian pullets to do a "sibling" mating next year.
They will still be split to Blue Columbian, but both varieties seem to be clean enough, almost no mossiness at this point, and accept for the hen feathered oddball, pretty even bunch I am very happy with.
Some are starting to campaign to be the chosen ones
