Just candle the waterfowl and turkeys royal palms 80% gesse and ducks 90%

When I had muscovies (20 years ago) i had great hatches: hova in the basement and no water added (i am talking damp: if firewood is half dry when tossed in it starts getting moldy)

Thanks Baron Im guna chalk it up to nutrition/conditioning. I was learning. my ducks are eating the same as my layers now, I dont buy scratch at all anymore.

i feed my waterfowl scratch grain mixed with hog grower and just a little bit of layer

CHicken for me. Not a big worry, he's always better later. Just put some turkey eggs in to see (17) , only just started laying and I don't know if he was getting them all. Very cold to collect yet.

Just heard from Autumn, 23/25 Ameraucanas fertile, happy with that, normally I would expect 100% fertility. but this year there is couple of 4 year old hens and I can tell they have been able to avoid his advances, ;) although I am hoping for some progeny from them, good laying and longevity is appreciated here.
