Just a young dude then, (at 7 month he is a young teenager in Wyandotte years, ;) plenty of time to come in to his own :coolguy:

Yes, I was crossing him over Aussies, are Wyandotte hens different for fertility and viability as well as the boys? I hadn't considered that they might be slower maturing!

I think he looks good, very pretty, nice type.
KB, there are several factors at play when it comes to fertility in certain breeds and even strains within. Fluffybuttedness is one, and Wys shape, coupled with lots of bum fluff, means they can take a little longer to figure out the mechanics. And still miss the mark LOL. Some people pluck around their vents to increase fertility. Wys also tend to be more fertile in warmer weather than cold
