And will you be selling either of your Miller's, because at some point I have to give back the one I borrowed from hubby's friend and get my own.
That's it, we're all hopeless.

Re: "Chicken on the brain"
Another spring is here: and I am close to my plan. "Chicken Fever", "Chicken Madness", "Chicken on the brain"... whatever you call it, is being well managed. sold half my geese so I now have a trio and 5 goslings. I have RIR bantams which finally started laying (they didn't like confinement), I had a quad of legbars which I sold, pheasants are sold.
current inventory: the family of geese, 3 buckeye hens (the roo is at my sisters and is moving back soon), 8 rir bantams, and chicks: 25 legbars, 10 partridge chantecler (for sale), and 20 mixed buckeye chicks (for sale) some are easter eggers.
Pure buckeyes and rir bantams i'll hatch in late summer, and guinea chicks to be ordered.
the incubator is off...its calling me...I must resist....

Re: "Chicken on the brain"
Sooooo...just got back from the Lombardy buy and sell...good crowd ..lotsa birds..bitter breeze running thru the barn...I think I saw Cliff rolling around taking photos...I took along pocket change because I knew, I just knew, that i would have come home with something if I had money in my pocket..whew...would mean I would need to build more coop and then of course it wouod have to be big enough to house me as well...saw Jim but missed any others that may have come later...the place was doing a brisk business...I think this is better than an auction..no waiting around...anyway, great way to start a sunday and there were a lot of grandparents with the kids in tow showing them the ropes....

No, took only pocket money and the car so I couldn't bring home anything. She had flight cages too at a good price. Remember it took me 2 years to research and get the Beltsville stock I ended up with.
