Canadian Bresse

Post by Nome89 » Mon Jun 21, 2021 3:29 pm

So I've come to a bit of a decision regarding my Canadian Bresse I wanted to start raising.... I dont have time 🙄 (kids, work and legbars).
I have some cockerals and pullets (both 16 weeks) I want to get rid of but I have no idea what to sell them for - I raised them all from chicks.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or if your interested send me a message and we'll talk.
This might be the most sain chicken post I've had 😂

There are a few places on fb you can look at, 16 weeks you should easily be able to sex them. I might as for 25.00 per pullet and 15.00 for each cockeral. Make a deal if you sell the entire flock together. Where are you located, I maybe able o poit you at a fb group.

They are separated into pullets and cockerals. I am located South of Sarnia. I am in a few facebook chicken groups. I just find them to be a bit much sometimes... but I will likely post them for sale on there. Just wanted to have some sort of idea as what to ask without being way off.

I have tried Facebook a few times and I'm not fond of a few things. This is my first Forum but this seems to be the place to find the best answers to all your questions and have some laughs along the way @Happy  . No shortage of experienced poultry keepers here!

So regarding Bresse...at the very least you should get the money you paid for them back. Right?

I found a few sights and they are expensive and rare.

$25 per chick straight run at the site below:

Nome, our rooster and 5 cream legbar chicks came from you, last year or maybe the year before? I just wanted to say thanks! these are amazing birds and are absolutely doing wonderfully.

the person who aquires these Bresse will be pleasantly suprised that they are coming from a top quality breeder and home.

@thegawd so happy to hear that! Thank you so much. I really strive to have good quality birds.

I decided I would list them all for $150 and see what happens. Need them to relocate to cut down on chores.
To many animals around here!
