There is someone out my way with 5 day old silkie chicks for sale. I am tempted to get a few. In the pictures, some have a quite fluffy head and others don't. Based on the pictures that have been posted here, I think they should all have quite fluffy heads. Am I right? There are no pictures of the parents in the ads. A lot of the silkies I've seen around here don't have nice feathering like the ones in your posts.

Yes they should have fluffy heads, here's some pics of really nice chicks but the parents will give you a better idea of what they will look like.

The top chick is a blue partridge, the bottom chicks are lavender. Here's a picture of them full grown. The lavender is one of the chicks, not sure which one. LOL
