I now have Blue Hamburgs (blue/black/splash) I got last spring from Performance and I love them. We have gotten gold spangled and silver pencilled Hamburg’s from them too over the past few years and I fell in love with them - they’re easy keepers, good foragers and though they like to fly are as Kenya said very personable and love their treats. They are very good layers of medium, cream coloured eggs and I don’t have to worry about frost bitten combs. I’ve been getting 4-5 eggs a day from the 5 of them. The Blues are a bit bigger than the other two colours we had. I highly recommend them.

Yes, I loved the look of the pencilled hamburgs, sadly we had to move so they had to go.
