Oh of course it has to be a roo, I always go for the roos but I'm still hoping for a hen. I just had another hatch out so we shall see.

Here we are outside, these are some of the older chicks enjoying bug collecting, sunbathing and eating greens. I love to sit and watch them.

Someone one said to me, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a Silkie problem!
Did I mention I have 6 silkie eggs under 3 broodies at the moment..hatch day is next weekend...See above!

Ha! Ha! It is so easy to have a silkie problem. I am hatching constantly and of course now I'm trying to thin the flock. I have switched the boys so have to hatch out those eggs to see who is giving me the best chicks.

So I'm keeping an eye on this little one, about the size of a large orange but so cute the way she struts around.
