Silkie breeding plans
Re: Silkie breeding plans
Here are a couple of my grow outs from my hatch in Jan.
This is Junior...not very original.
Fingers crossed for next year's breeding. Carabooo has the Showgirls, 3 buff girls. JR gets the rest. Lol

@kenya Out of 9, I had 4 roosters 5 pullets. 2 Partridge, one blue and 1 black. 2 Buff Showgirls and this girl. I wouldn't call her frizzle but she has a curl to her feathers and I would call her Red.
What do you think?

I would call her buff more of a pumpkin shade and a very nice one but I think she is a bit frizzle as well. Very beautiful girl!

Wow @kenya lovely colour. I had a Red that colour from this hatch, but sadly he had to be putdown
Pretty sure, this is buff.
And Buff ( I was hoping for a paint), Partridge, and Blue!

I like that shade of buff, pretty colour.
I have this one I think is going to be a blue cream, only hatched out one like this. This one is very dark although the picture doesn't show it but I think a dark partridge.
