OK so that is interesting. I just nearly had a fit because my 2 Ameraucanas have close to white earlobes! Just checked my Standard (I looooove this book) and found that only the male has red earlobes "female earlobes to be very pale, matching colour of the skin" Phew!
Perhaps we could sticky this info because it's a common question that people ask?
