Curious on how long silkies live? are they lumped in like all chickens or because they are bantam tend to live longer like say smaller dogs??

We have a few older's here if we can keep everything from catching them .... 6 yrs is the oldest we have right now... IME they are such hardy little dustball birds lol.

I would say around 10 years old but not really sure. Not sure how old my oldest is, been around a while though. I find mine more needy than my other chickens, having to keep the leg feathers and poof and beards clean takes more work. Still nothing beats them for little puff balls wandering around the yard. I like the way a low fence keeps them contained.
