BTM Cochins
I have a pair of blue bantam cochins. They are very sweet little pocket chickens, jump right in your hand and come running when they see you. Is this normal for the breed? I don't really like Bantams, but I have a kid who has fallen in love with these little guys so I am looking for a hen of two to add to the group before I give them to her. Anyone out there with sweet little BBS cochin ladies for sale?

Re: BTM Cochins
Our family favorite down in Texas is a Black Bantam Cochin named "Dapple." She sounds like your birds, she will sit in your lap all day, follows you around, happy as a lark. I have been trying to find some more bantam Cochins but no luck up here in Ontario...
I am not sure if it is a normal temperament of the breed, but I miss my lil Dapple girl. She was hand raised by me, and had a variety of other "brothers n sisters" of other breeds that were raised the same way, but she has always stood out as way sweeter than the rest...
