I have a Newby question for the ameraucana people
I just hatched out some eggs... they were blue, red brown and blue wheaten hens crossed with a blue rooster.

These chick's... I'm reading some people consider them EE because the colour crosses? Is this correct or are they still considered pure americaunas?
I could care less as I just want the blue eggs but if I go to sell some of these chicks I would like to know what I'm selling...
If someone could clarify for me that would be great!

You would sell them as easter eggers because the colours have been crossed. Each of those colours has a different genetic e locus gene set and with crossing them they have been mixed. The e locus dictates the pattern of the adult-what colours go where....so mixing a wheaten with a brown red will cause a mixed chick that grows into an adult with a mixed e locus and messy patterning. They will not breed true in subsequent generations either. So to be safe i would sell as easter eggers.
