I sold one of my blue Ameraucana cockerels, but still have three from last summer's hatch. I plan to sell two more if I can. Here are some recent pictures. Any comments? Some have damaged beards from icicles and rubbing on the water dish.
I posted a picture of this one when he was younger. His comb has gotten a bit taller since then.
This one is bigger than all the others. His comb is quite large.
The one in the front of this picture is the big one shown above. The one in the back is the third one, and the one I plan to keep. He and the one in the first picture are similar in size.

Leg colour looks good ,overall colour good. You are right the one roosters comb is a little large . Eye color looks good, but I need to see the birds from the side to have a better idea of build.

I'll see if I can get some side views. When I get down to their level they always come up close. I was trying to take pictures without wire showing.

I know the problem, when we were trying to get pictures for the online show, we found out just how difficult it is to take a good picture that best represents their structure and form. Some of the out take pictures were hilarious unless you were the person trying to get that perfect picture, then it was frustrating.

Well I didn't get any good side views of the two that live together yet. Here's a side view of the darker one.
I took this picture of the top of the two lighter ones. It's an interesting way to compare them.
I had these two cockerels from a different hen bred to the same rooster as the ones I posted first. I sold them both. They were a month younger than the blue ones. I have one dark blue pullet from the same cross as these two.
Black one
Dark blue one

The first male I think needs to carry his tail a little higher, he seems a little long in the back but it may be the picture and the way he's standing., I like the width of the male in the second picture also the width of his head.
The black male has a better tail set but I'd like to see the picture more in profile, he looks like he also has nice body width.
The last male it may be the picture but his tails too low, he looks narrow through his body, my least favourite.
Hopefully Ontario chick will also comment.

Thanks Kenya. The first two pictures are the same rooster - a darker blue male.
The black male was a bit larger than the blue one in the last picture. I liked him better, conformation wise. I can't take any more pictures of the last two - I sold them in October. These were the last pictures I took of them before I sold them. I do plan to breed their parents again this year.

Are you talking about the picture with two roosters shown from above?
How hard is it to breed out an incorrect comb?

Yes The 2 roosters in the same photo, I like the width on the one. It's so hard to say just from a picture, especially when they don't want to stand up straight.
I wouldn't worry so much about his comb, I used one just like him for years ,he never passed it on.

Here's a side view of the bigger one at 22 weeks, taken November 15th.
