nice birds!I got started SOOO late this year with a broken collarbone and foot and then all the rain. And then of course I get a full tray and the power goes out during hatch and it was NOT during this July in Sept temps.

I just love this site...I love being able to go back and read about different breeds and read the thoughts of real folks who are dealing with them. The Buckeye is a breed that caught my attention as I read they are great mousers, they do well in our cold winters and they are duel purpose.

This pullet is a May 21, 2017 hatch
She has won Best American in her last 2 shows. We are off to another this weekend. Not too sure if she can do it again. But, here is hoping!
