I assume this is a cochin cross due to it's pea comb.

If I had to guess, I would say it was between 4-5 months old. The comb/wattle combo has been that red since we got it month ago. There is a trip happening to the butcher on Monday and I need to figure it out.

This type of tail is throwing me....cochins seem to have round tail feathers--I am not used to this. Any help you give would be appreciated!

Most definitely a boy, most definitely not a Cochin lol. Cochins have single combs :) .
