New peachicks

Post by Epona » Sat Jun 11, 2016 10:31 am

Yesterday's hatch of pea chicks. Can't believe how quick a day old is! I brought a couple of blueberries to give the peahen to tempt her off the nest. Wanted to do a head count and clean up the nest. One little character grabbed a blueberry from her and took off with it. The peafowl always amaze me how the peahen will give her food to her young. but really.....a day old and taking off with a whole blueberry!

One is definitely white, the other two are probably black shoulders. Have a blue chick in the group out of camera range.
