Yes that paint pullet is the paint chick, in the picture it's about 6 weeks old. In the second picture the topknot looks like it's windblown backwards, supposedly a sign of a male chick but as you can see that wasn't true.

Some pics of our three. Carmen, Molly and Mathilda. Or Carman, Mo and Matt, depending ...
Carmen is the mostly buff, Molly the smaller tricolour, and Mathilda, the larger tricolour.
Any guesses on gender?

This is just teasing us like this.
First one is a boy. In the 2nd and 3rd pictures the one looking at the camera is a girl. In the 2nd photo the one walking away at the back of the picture is a boy.

Honestly these are just guesses, give me a different photo and I might change my guess. I say the one in the 2nd photo is a male because of its stance, it stands with longer legs which says male to me. The other chick with the different colors on it says male to me because of the different colours, males are usually more colourful. It has very pretty colouring, will be beautiful if a girl.

So, my guess are the same as @kenya. The last one of the fella walking away, is a beautiful Red Plye cockeral. All are going to be awesome looking.

Thanks @kenya and @Kbr42 . I pretty much knew that at least one of them was a boy, but lately my gut has been saying probably two. I was hoping I was wrong, so thought I would ask you Silkie experts for your insights.
So, looks like we have Carman, Molly and Matt.

When I told DH that the Silkie experts have predicted two males, he asked, "So, now what?" Short answer is "I will have to rethink". I'm guessing that finding a home for one rooster is probably a lot easier than finding a home for two. We already have Wallace, so as much as I would love to keep them both ... We need to decide on which breed of rooster we want to keep; d'Uccles or Silkie. I am fairly certain that I have three mille fleurs d'Uccles pullets growing out, so Wallace does have the advantage, but I really love those Silkies too. :sighke1:
