Question Mini Classic Turkeys (white)
Mini Classic Turkeys (white)
I am looking for someone with experience raising these turkeys. We have been very happy, but it is our first summer raising them, so the difficult decision re whether or not to keep some as barnyard "pets" and perhaps raise a few turkeys per year from eggs going forward. DOES ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CARRYING THESE BIRDS THROUGH SEVERAL SEASONS (like chickens)?

@carolg

Now full disclosure here I breed Beltsville SMall WHites which I think are the most wonderful birds ever to grace a paddock (or table). A smaller bird that is hardy, breeds naturally and lays well . Here is a link to my set up. Many folks on this forum know I get a bit carried away about them and several have kept them.

Best of luck!
