I think DH is suffering from chick deprivation too. I showed him the picture and he was all over how cute they are and looking like a stuffed toy and "what sort is she?". I DO NOT need more chickens!

We all need more chickens....sad note, Mom squished one of the babies and she ended up with splayed legs...I tried to fix them but she could hold herself up eat or drink well...you know the outcome to that story.......so I have 9 very healthy chicks. Not bad for my first hatch of the season.
There are 3 or 4 showgirls in the lot of silkies. I will get some pictures they already are spectacular. Beyond what I was expecting. Now if I'm lucky they are all hens :wee:

My guess will be Buff. Pullet is buff, and I have A red frizzle Roo and my Red Pyle Roo. Fingers crossed I'll get a red Pyle out of the 9 that I have. There are 3 Showgirls. If they would stay still I could get some good pictures
