The trimmed beak birds I got from Freys when I started grew back fine!

i have one that broke his back way further than that. it's been almost a year, and it is slowly finally coming back to normal. i had to hand feed him wetted food pellets because it was really really sore for the first 3-4 days. after that he was fine. i don't think mine will ever grow back in, but he actually debeaked himself to the quick....ooooo it was nasty.....blood everywhere, and i haven't a clue what he did it on. but he survived and after the first few days could feed himself with no problem.
