Or iodine. I am not a big fan of antibiotics unless really needed.

Iodine is good as an antimicrobial, but it's not readily available - at least, not in this area.

I think you may be on to something ...

Your hen's feet do look like the image in the article for articular gout.
If that's the case you will need to lower her uric acid levels. It can be done by means other than drugs. A TBSP of apple cider vinegar in a 1 gallon of water, and finding ways to boost water uptake. Other suggestions: cherries (pitted, preferably).

I'm running with this...Cherry Juice is awsome to help gout, arthritis, and insomnia. I'm sure all your chickens would enjoy it!Jaye wrote: ↑Thu Jun 04, 2020 5:23 pmI think you may be on to something ...

I always have Betadine wash on hand for treating wounds. I buy it at a livestock and pet supply store. It`s antibacterial.

Re: Swollen Feet
Just a quick update, the chicken I was treating passed away shortly after. I then noticed another hen from the same genetics is starting to get what looks like the same thing. Ill assume its from the breeder and won't be breeding any of those chickens.
Thanks for everyone's help!

Re: Swollen Feet
There's a couple of things it could be...articular gout, as already suggested, a bacteria infection (likely staph), or mycoplasma synoviae. Are her wing joints swollen or knobby as well? Sorry to hear the one has passed
