Healthy beak?

So I recently brought home 3 chickens (my first birds!)

Of the 3, one was crawling with feather lice (on this forum's advice, I bought Bronco Equine Fly Spray online & it's currently on it's way to me)

Another of the hens had a mild scissor beak, so I had her inside for a trimming session when I noticed something inside her mouth. I'm brand new to chickens, so am not sure if it's something to be alarmed over - looks like a bit of food stuck in her lower beak, and something white and blobby toward the back? I've attached photos.

Is this something that needs to be treated by a vet, or is it normal? Thanks for any help!

I've consulted with a vet, and it's a canker sore. I'm not too pleased with this breeder for selling me sick birds.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. I kind of thought that might be canker but I've never dealt with it so definitely wasn't sure. Did the vet provide meds? I sincerely hope this breeder stops selling until they can get a handle on their health issues.

The vet is getting me metronidazole for all 3 birds, and also advised that I give them apple cider vinegar (1tbsp per gallon of water). Yeah I'm disappointed with the breeder! I texted him the vet's diagnosis (so that he can treat his other birds), but haven't gotten a reply.

As an update, she's responded beautifully to the medication! The canker sores are still present, but behaviourally she's a lot more alert and active :) which is good, because the other two treat her as a leader and refuse to go anywhere without her.

As update to this: turns out it wasn't cankers after all, it was ILT. My vet had diagnosed the lesions as canker sores based on appearance, but never actually confirmed it with a test.

My Brahma seemed to improve after the medication regime, but then other two started crashing. My black pullet was particularly ill (coughing blood, gasping) so I had her tested for pretty much everything - my vet couldn't figure out what was wrong, until the ILT test came back positive.

I contacted the breeder who sold me the birds, and his reply was rather strange :/ I'll attach a screenshot of it. I know that he had more then 10 birds (he had white cochins, buff cochins, black cochins, silver-laced brahma, light brahma, dark brahma, gold-laced brahma, polish, silkies, silver-laced wyandottes, mottled sussex, and leghorns) so I'm a bit confused.

Hopefully he's passed the information on to the other buyers.

Is ILT not a reportable disease? @modern17 can perhaps advise?

My vet told me that she had already reported my ILT test results. I asked whether I should pass along this man's name and phone number, but she declined to take it. I'm not sure why.

EDIT: he's said that he'll alert the other buyers, so that's good at least.
