I am so sorry you had to go through this, it is very upsetting. Several of our members have been through it. The attitude of this seller is appalling and anyone else who bought birds is now in very deep trouble. They will likely have to cull their entire flock. There is a special place in hell for people who act like that!

I reported the ad he had up, and it's no longer there today (though I'm not sure whether it was him or kijiji that took the ad down)
