No eggs!

Post by Kbr42 » Tue Nov 26, 2019 8:57 am

I'm stumped!

I have 2 crested cream legbars that started laying at the end of the summer. Each layed about 6 or 8 eggs each then stopped! They have extra light, they sit in the nesting boxes like they are going to lay an egg then nothing! No eggs. I've treated for mites and they've been dewormed. I have others that are laying in the same coop. I just have no idea.

Any thpughts on what i can do or what i should do? They are otherwise very healthy. Eating drinking well, active, just not producing eggs.

I have several who haven't laid in forever too. I am also stumped. I hope someone will have a suggestion for you, because I can't think of another reason either.
