A Mummy in a Laying Box?
I found the weirdest non-egg in a laying box this morning. It almost looks shrink-wrapped. And I know it was this morning because I stir the nesting material everyday, even in the corners. Unless, I totally missed it one day.

DH cracked it open; it was definitely organic. The smell was bad! It is now on a tissue, leaking out fluid, outside.

Definitely a lash egg. Usually means internal infection for the hen that laid it

Well, there's something to Google that I had never seen online with hens! And I'll be on extra watch now!
Thanks!
