This egg was laid yesterday; it had a thin shell and was cracked.
Good thing
1. it was cracked because it did not go into a carton with the others;
2. it did not go directly into a frying pan.
Does anyone know what this growth on the yolk is? Chick pre-growth, tumour?

That looks like it was frozen. The white thing is the chalazea I think. It also looks like it has been frozen.
