Bloody eggs

Post by kenya » Fri Dec 01, 2017 12:26 am

I have one hen always gives bloody eggs. Gorgeous girl would like to hatch some eggs from her. But if thats not possible at least get eatable eggs. Any suggestions would be great, she seems happy not stressed out.

Blood IN the egg? Those won't hatch :( If the shells are light coloured you can candle and give the tinted ones to the dog (or eat them yourself if you have no religious restrictions against blood) but if she has blood in her eggs on a regular basis, there's not really anything you can do to fix that.
