Its just a little bit of tissue sloughing from the tract. Just like people sometimes chickens have hiccups in ovulating and any piece of anything in the oviduct will spur egg formation. You know how a grain of sand in an oyster gets a pearl laid around it? Same thing. Any little piece of anything in the oviduct will get albumin and membrane and shell put around it. The egg size is dependent on the yolk size-the yolk is the thing ovulated. If theres no yolk but instead a tiny bit of tissue it gets a small egg built around it because the tissue is smaller than a yolk. The little bit of black is probably a small spot of blood from where the tissue dislodged. Then the egg got built around the bit and blood spot. Pretty neat really.
