Turkey tom and gout

Post by Epona » Tue Aug 22, 2017 7:11 pm

Tommy, the tom turkey has swollen feet. No noticeable problem w the soles of his feet. So I'm thinking gout. Would his eating of the chicken layer feed be the cause? All the birds free range but I feed at am and pm a mix of scratch and layer to all. Turkeys get gout, right?
