Interesting egg

Post by WLLady » Thu Jul 27, 2017 8:33 pm

 someones spray pain tin got empty....
This is from one of my marans. She lays a purplish egg with lots of bloom....guess she ran out temporarily. She is about 3 years old and lays once every 3 days....this is a first for me. I have gotten eggs lighter at one end or the other, but never a ring around saturn egg!!!

Wow, that's really different!
I blow out special eggs and keep them in a basket on my kitchen counter. If that were one of my chickens' eggs I'd want to keep it for posterity. :-)

I am not sure that's a Saturn egg, looks more like Uranus egg to me.
