Rodent peanut allergy ?
In the last 3 days I've set live traps with peanut butter for bait in barn ( relocating chippys )
First one I caught was alive , the last two are dead , just over night in trap no marks . Ever heard of this . Never ever have I had this happen before . Been using peanut butter as attractant on everything even yotes . PS eating it myself every other morning . Any ideas ?

i would be that either they stressed themselves out so badly they died, or you had a cat playing/tormenting them through the trap...scared em to death.
