Question wry neck treatment for injured silkie

I have a 64 square foot pen with a 40 square foot enclosed outside yard.
5 birds total (2 silkie hens, 2 NN silkie hens & a NN silkie rooster)

My prettiest & favorite silkie was avoiding the crowd a bit more last Sunday
When I threw treats outside, she came out to get some.
I actually "SAW" 2 of the hens Peck her in the head, & she backed up shaking her head.
A few hours later she was still shaking her head, while hanging it down.

I brought her in the house & started treatment for Wry neck.

2 times a day does of -
400 IU vitamin E
Selium
2.5 mg prednisone

I grind it up together & try to get some in her mouth,
but she is fighting all the way!

I tried the syringe, but it gets on me more than in her mouth.
She won't eat the scramble eggs.

There is definetly improvement, 1st few days she wouldn't eat anything.
She now pecks @ the food & water But her neck is still not Normal.
( I have been massaging it & trying to get it back to a normal position but no luck so far)
I find her sitting up ( her head was on the ground the first few days )
but it's like she is resting her Bent neck on her body.

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

I read online of someone who has used Tumeric Tea with good results on her chicken.
( it reduces the swelling on injuries of wry neck due to head peck )

I am wiling to hear ANY crazy idea, or logical suggestion.
I realize it hasn't been a week, but I would like to help her out of this mess.
She really IS the prettiest silkie I've ever had.

Heat helps with the muscle cramping--if you can, give her a heat lamp to go under if she wants it. Electrolytes/minerals including salts of calcium, sodium, magnesium and potassium will help as long as she's getting enough water. She needs to drink lots anyway to clear out the damage, make her drink multiple times a day or tube her if you have to.

Happy had wry neck. I treated him with 25mg selenium, 400iu vitamin E, polyvisol children's liquid vitamin without iron (not the vitamin D drops...look for the original one with multiple vitamins) 2 drops twice a day.
After 2 weeks of this treatment I added a vitamin B complex crushed on his treats and that seemed to help greatly.

Happy wasn't a big drinker because of his neck so I always had sliced cucumber or watermelon available for him because that was easier for him in between syringe drinks from me. I realized I could put his meds on a quartered cucumber and he got the bulk of the dose into himself. It was less stressful than fighting him. Calm is very important with wry neck. It's very frustrating to deal with and it's 2 steps forward and one back. Hoping for the best!

I think what you are dealing with is more of a brain injury if you saw the other hens peck her there. The prednisone will help and I agree some childrens liquid vitamins should help. It could be as long as a month before you see much improvement.

Well.....duhhhhh I don't know why I didn't think of the meds on something she would like!?! WTH????
I went out & bought some cucumber, but she wouldn't eat or peck @ it.
She DID like tomoato, so the E / selium / prednisone mixture was injested.

I bought the liquid baby vitamins ( almost ed my pants!!!! OMGawd $29.50 )
She wouldn't try it, but tomorrow I will try it on watermelon.

THANX for suggestions, she is worth the effort....did I mention she was Exceptionally Pretty????

I just use a syringe to give the liquid vitamins, or put it in the water.
