I've attached two pictures of smthg a chicken layed. Could it be the product of an egg bound hen?
Looking forward to hearing about this.

Seen it posted before but csnt remember what its called... lash egg? Maybe? not sure what causes it but the good news is someone on here will.

It is a lash egg (which isn't really an egg as I understand it but a big blob of ummmm puss)

Yes, it's a lash egg. Looks like this one actually started out as an egg, perhaps got stuck on scar tissue in the oviduct, perhaps got broken inside, and the chickens' body tried to cyst it off. Better out than in. Hopefully it's a one-off. It's common in hens that have survived infectious bronchitis, especially ones bought as ready-to-lay...But it can happen to any bird. Keep an eye out for signs of internal laying.
