Sick bird

Super booster has antibiotics, and I think some vitamins and minerals, but not sure. If you're looking for vitamins and minerals and general immune support, Stress-aid is the way to go.

Yes superbooster has antibiotics and vitamins... it's normally used to give to new chicks in their water but it's all I had. It's so hard to get drugs now for them and we do not have a close farm vet around here.
She's drinking and eating on her own now. Tonight I'll see if I can get her to stand.
I think she's getting a little to comfy in here... haha :smilewithrooster:

That sounds promising. However, if she still can't stand on her own, that's a bit concerning - to me anyway. Maybe not to the more experienced poultry keepers, though. How old is your hen?

Check her keel for crooked spots and lumps...If they broke it piling on her, she may not want to stand for several days but it will heal. If that's not the problem, she may have wrenched her back... I've had a couple chickens do that and they didn't get better :(

Or ... I hate to even suggest this, but the thought that crossed my mind when you said she couldn't stand on her own, was Mareks. That why I asked how old she was. I'm probably way off base though. :hands:

I'm kinda wondering if she fell off the roost... she was laying under it when I found her.
She will stand on one leg with some help and she's eating and drinking normally now and both her eyes are open!
Other than that leg and some missing feathers she seems to be in good health! So I don't think it's Mareks. ..

How's your girl doing now? Hoping for a full recovery!

She's looking good... eating and drinking but she isn't able to stand or walk... I don't feel any broken bones and one leg sticks straight back when you lift her... it's not looking good for her in the long term of things :(
