It's an ugly disease. Birds choke to death on blood clots. I just want to add that there is some evidence that the ILT vaccine also may give some protection against Mareks, without the risk of outbreak associated with a regular Marek's vaccine. If you ever attend shows or fairs, buy or sell birds, have friends or neighbours that keep poultry, I personally would strongly recommend ILT vaccine.
